During his living there, he was very busy also to involved in Batam Pro Event as a marketing executive. But In 2011, he decided to came back to his homeland Maumere Flores. In his village, its name is Doka where he was born. He felt empathy with his people in that village, he said “ what can i do for my people?”. Since he was a little boy, he already loved the local art and culture. Therefore based on his multitalented and his experiences, he organized the people in his village. As the result, DOKA TAWA TANA TRADITIONAL CULTURAL ART GROUP was established. As his effort,he really needs to develove “ A Ikat Weaving School/Institute ” and “ Ikat Weaving Galery”. All handmade products are made from local cotton and natural dye. He said that he must preserve those Ancestor’s Heritages, and from generation to generation, we must learn these art and culture.
